Tomah Welcomes its Newest SET member and City Treasurer

 The City of Tomah would like to extend a warm welcome to the new City Treasurer and member of the Senior Executive Team, Justin Derhammer.

Justin is a long-time resident and Tomah High graduate. He graduated from Western Technical College Summa Cum Laude with an associate degree in Applied Accounting. His professional background includes management and applied accounting experience including overseeing and leading as the Chief Deputy Treasurer and the Interim County Treasurer for Monroe County, and practical experience with QuickBooks, Munis (Tyler Technologies), CashPro Positive Pay software, and Syspro. He is a registered public Notary with the State of Wisconsin. 

 

Justin was born in Delaware and moved here as a child when his military family was stationed at Volk Field. He is married to Tomah native, Cassandra Cossette. They have been married since May of 2023 and share a dog named Bo. In Justin’s spare time, he enjoys watching movies, playing his trumpet, and beating his family in the game of Monopoly.
