It is a public nuisance if your property is not covered with grass, mowed and maintained so that the height of the lawn, or other vegetation, doesn’t exceed eight inches.

Noxious weeds mean invasive or allergen producing species of vegetation.

City Staff will place a notice on the property and provide 72 hours to take care of said nuisance.  If the landowner has not taken care of the nuisance within 72 hours of the notice, a City Contractor will take care of the nuisance and the landowner will be charged for the contractor ($100 per hour, 1 hour minimum) and an administrative fee of $75.00.
