The Tomah Parks and Recreation Department is proud to offer a wide variety of parks with many different features including open air and enclosed shelters. Please take some time to view our parks below to see what each has to offer.

Buckley Park (Aquatic Center)

Home of the Tomah Aquatic Center.

Exterior Area: Play area with slide & swings, viewing bench, and adjoining parking lot.

Handicap accessible bathroom, shelter, fishing pier and playground. Slides, swings and merry go arounds.

Butts Park/North American Squirrel Association Inclusive Park

On the bank of Lake Tomah. A cooperative effort between the North American Squirrel Association and the City of Tomah Parks Department helped bring the first All Inclusive Park to Tomah. Amenities for handicap and elderly individuals with accessible bathroom and shelter, fishing pier, and playground.

Frank S. Andres Fireman’s Park

2 Open-air Picnic Pavilions, enclosed shelter, public restrooms, Skate Park, football fields, horseshoe pits, Born Learning Trail & playground area.

Walking trail connects park to Buckley Park (Aquatic Center)

Gillett Park

Little Red School House Museum, Maid of the Mist Fountain, Playground area, Picnic area and Gazebo.

Host to the Farmer’s Market & Americana Music in the Park each summer.

North Glendale Avenue Ball Park Complex

Softball and Baseball diamonds with lights and bleachers, 2 concession stands, 3 volleyball courts with lights, 2 public restrooms & playground area.

North Glendale Park is currently under construction, a portion of this park is where the new EMS building is being built.

Grumann Park

Neighborhood Park (Located between Lake Tomah & Rec Park) with a Playground Area and Open Air Shelter.

Memorial Park

Veterans Memorial, Open-air picnic pavilion, public restrooms, playground equipment and picnic area.

Recreation Park-Burnstad's Adventure Playground

Burnstad's Adventure Playground was built in 2014. The playground is located within Recreation Park and boasts a farm theme. Located next to the playground is the Agventure Pavilion, an open-air barn with picnic tables. Recreation Park is also home to the Budweiser Dairyland National Truck and Tractor Pull.

Veteran’s Park

Open-air picnic pavilion, concession stand, public restrooms, playground area,nature trail, multiple soccer fields, picnic area and a fenced Dog Park (entrance off Glendale Ave.).

Waterman Park

Neighborhood Park (between Veteran’s Park & N. Glendale Park) with a Playground Area & Open Air Shelter.

Winnebago Park

Located on Lake Tomah

2 Open-air picnic pavilions, enclosed shelter with fireplace, public restrooms, little league baseball diamond, handicapped fishing pier, volleyball courts, Wonder Hoops basketball court, Fitness equipment, horseshoe pits, picnic area, walking trail and 2 boat ramps for access to the lake.

Host to Winnebago Wednesdays kid’s activity time during the summer.

Winnebago Wonderland

Located inside of Winnebago Park is a 10,000 sq. ft. wooden playground complete with castles, mazes, slides, tubes, swings (including a parent & tot swing) and many more kid friendly play areas.
